Information we collect

Information you provide. If you email us (for example at support@resillens.com), we receive the information you choose to include: your email address, your name if you share it, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. Our website does not require an account, does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. We do not collect personal information through the website itself. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data as part of serving the site — such as IP address, browser type, and request date/time — in server logs used to operate and secure the service.

Information from other sources. We do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain personal information about you from data brokers or other third parties.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your messages and provide customer support;
• maintain records of correspondence so we can handle follow-ups and improve support;
• operate, secure, and debug our website;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

We do not use your personal information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on these bases: our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, providing support, and keeping our services secure (Art. 6(1)(f)); and compliance with legal obligations where processing is required by law (Art. 6(1)(c)).

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. We share information only with:

• Service providers (processors) that help us operate — currently our website hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) and our email provider (Google LLC, Google Workspace) — who process it on our behalf under their terms and data-processing agreements;
• Authorities or other parties where required by law, such as to comply with a legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Resillens, our users, or others;
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

International transfers

Resillens LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information originating in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland is transferred internationally, our providers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy frameworks.

Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, maintain support history, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted. Hosting server logs are retained by our hosting provider for short, operational periods under its policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to request access to it, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@resillens.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of the email address in question). If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Children's privacy

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@resillens.com and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and two-factor authentication on our systems, encryption in transit, and minimizing what we collect in the first place. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but limiting collection is our first line of defense.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes may be additionally communicated where required by law.
